WATCH: Anthony Kiedis Mistaken For Rolling Stones Fan, Fights With Security

Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis was restrained by security today after attempting to enter The Four Seasons hotel in Philadelphia, with the guard allegedly thinking the singer was a Rolling Stones fan seeking an autograph.

In the paparazzi footage, the Scar Tissue singer can be seen trying to enter the hotel with a female companion when the security guard blocks his path. Anthony persists, obviously not used to being refused entry anywhere, and the guard lunges for him and a scuffle breaks out. The Stones were reportedly making their exit from the hotel at the same time Kiedis tried to enter, but both the band and the hotel deny that the security guard works for them, although the Stones have suggested he could be part of their supplementary local team.

Kiedis has since released a statement to TMZ simply saying “I love the Rolling Stones”. What a dude. Red Hot Chili Peppers are currently touring their 2011 album I’m With You and will start work on its follow-up this September.
