Garbage have been a band for more than two decades but sometimes even seasoned professionals can be subject to terrible stage accidents.
The Shirley Manson-led band were performing at a festival in the US in support of their forthcoming album Strange Little Birds when Manson got a little closer to the crowd than she anticipated.
She fell off the edge of the stage in an epic fall but managed to continue on like nothing was wrong, picking herself up and carrying on without even missing a note.
The band took to Facebook after the show to lament on the show.
“Could have been worse. Could have been better. There are always monsters to chase in dreams,” they wrote.
It was the first show of their Strange Little Birds album cycle, their first new record in four years. It’s their sixth album and will be released on 10th June. It’s been preceded by lead single Empty.
