Watch Vance Joy Play A New Song ‘My Kind Of Man’

Melburnian singer-songwriter Vance Joy has unveiled a live-shot music video for new song My Kind Of Man, shot in the old abandoned ballroom above Flinders Street Station in Melbourne’s CBD.

The slow-moving and elegantly-shot video for My Kind Of Man (below) follows Vance Joy into the ballroom, and sticks with him and his guitar throughout the entire performance. The song follows Vance Joy’s recent single Mess is Mine, which was the first single to be taken from his forthcoming debut album Dream Your Life Away, which is currently set for release on 5th September.

Dream Your Life Away was recorded in the US with producer Ryan Hadlock (Gossip, Foo Fighters, The Lumineers). The album will have 13 songs, including triple j Hottest 100 2013-winner Riptide, as well as From Afar, which both featured on the God Loves You When You’re Dancing EP. The album’s official artwork and tracklisting were leaked via music discovery app Shazam in June.

Vance Joy confirmed earlier this year that he had finished recording his debut album in a tree house, and also said that fans shouldn’t expect his new material to sound too different from his earlier EP.
