The Weeknd Unveils New Collab With Canadian Artist Nav

The Weeknd is not resting on the success of his massive 2016 record Starboy, with his latest project a collaboration with fellow Canadian rapper and producer Nav called ‘Some Way’

The Weeknd’s third album Starboy broke Spotify’s record for most streams in a week, and it was massively popular in Australia too securing spots at #41 for ‘I Feel It Coming’ and #10 for it’s title track in triple j’s Hottest 100.

The record also featured stacks of collabs, and The Weeknd is clearly feeling like working with others is his vibe at the moment, teaming up with Nav for this track which features typically silky vocals from R&B crooner.

The track has some provocative lyrics from The Weeknd too, and Billboard suggests that lines including “I think your girl, think your girl fell in love with me/She say my fuckin’ and my tongue gave a remedy” are direct disses at Justin Bieber. ICYMI The Weeknd is currentely dating Bieber’s ex Selena Gomez.
