Good news Perthians! You can stop bemoaning about always being left out of the cool kids club and everything (jk, love you) because The Purple One does not play favourites.
In a surprise announcement today Prince has extended his Australian Piano & A Microphone Tour, with an extra Perth date. Prince will make his WA debut with a “very special in the round performance” at Perth Arena on Thursday February 25th.
The news follows today’s release of extra tickets to Prince’s two Sydney Opera House shows, and comes as a bit of a surprise, given that the promotors of the east coast leg of the tour previously assured us that no further Aussie Piano & A Microphone shows were to be announced.
But look, this is PRINCE we’re talking about. It’s his tour. He can do what he likes.
Tickets for the Perth show go on sale at midday, Saturday February 13th. That’s tomorrow. Get on them quick and don’t even think of buying those suckers from a scalper as Prince has set some strict ground rules for Aussie fans.
Oh and a lucky few of your might even score an invite to a sneaky afterparty!
