Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has tried to smooth over today’s embarrassing AC/DC cock-up by throwing his hands in the air, admitting he has sh*t taste in music and begging the nation to school him with some hot playlist tips.
And it has backfired, spectacularly.
ICYMI: in the wake of AC/DC’s founding rhythm axeman Malcolm Young’s sad passing on Saturday, the PM got quizzed on Triple M about his favourite Acca Dacca song and he. could. not. name. a. single. one.
Now, his Big Gun PR team have devised what we’re sure seemed like a genius way to address the national outrage that sparked over the Dirty Deed.
Taking to Twitter, they wrote: “Alright, alright. The PM needs a refresh on his Aussie music so we’re making him a playlist, starting with @acdc and a bit of @braithwaite_d. Tweet us your suggestions.”

What could possibly go wrong, right?
Well HELLS BELLS did they get ~Shot Down In Flames~, with poor old Malcolm getting Thunderstruck by High Voltage burns from across the nation.
Behold some of Australia’s best musical tips for the Prime Minister’s new playlist, below.
