Blink-182 Reunion With Tom DeLonge Is “Completely Unfounded Rumour”, Says Mark Hoppus

Soz to burst your bubble Blink-182 fans, but Mark Hoppus reckons those rumours about a reunion with prodigal son Tom DeLonge are a bit of BS.

There’ve been some promising developments on the Blink reunion front of late, with Mark and Tom following each other on social media and Tom expressing keenness to return to the dude ranch at some point, but sadly that point does not seem to be any time in the immediate future.

“There is not any talk of that right now,” Mark said during a recent chat with US radio station, KROQ-FM.

“I mean I’ll never say never to anything, but that is a completely unfounded rumour at this point.”

Current-era Blink AKA the Mark, Matt Skiba And Travis Show are currently readying the release of their eighth studio album, which contrary to previous statements from the band, will not be out before June.

“There is not an exact date,” Mark fessed up when quizzed about the release.

“It is coming out this summer. I was just on the phone earlier today with Ron Perry, who’s the head of our label, and we are figuring out the exact launch date. But we are finalising mixes right now, we have about half the album mastered, and the announce on when the album will be released will be forthcoming.”

For now, you can listen to their new single ‘Blame It On My Youth’ below.

As for Tom, he’s got a new History Channel doco series about his alien hunting adventures out now and you can check out the trailer for that right here.
