Indie duo Holy Holy have announced they’re embarking on a national tour to launch third studio album My Own Pool of Light, due out Friday, August 2nd through Wonderlick.
The massive 15-date jaunt sees the band playing throughout both capital cities and regional parts of the country, including some of their biggest venues yet.
That’s not all – today Holy Holy have also released a new track called ‘Frida’ from the album, which dissects the way gender stereotypes are forced upon us in the everyday, and in particular young children. It’s the third song the band have released from the album thus far, following up on ‘Faces’ last year and ‘Teach Me About Dying’ back in May.
“We always want to make music that’s exciting and interesting, and that makes you feel something, and takes risks” says the band’s Timothy Caroll about My Own Pool of Light. “This is the album we wanted to make.”
Perth singer-songwriter Carla Geneve will join the band throughout the national tour.
