Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Has Copped Some More Australian Shows

Earlier in the year, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child made its Australia debut, taking to Melbourne’s Princess Theatre for a run of dates across February. It has today been announced that due to popular demand, the production has added an additional eight weeks to its Australian run.

The play has been deemed the most successful play in theatre history, collecting 24 major theatre awards in the UK and 25 in the US.

Melbourne is the third city in the world to welcome the production, and is the first in the southern hemisphere. It is the only city in the region that is set to host the production.

Tickets for the production’s additional eight-week extended program will go on sale at 11am on Thursday, 18th July via their Official Website. These new tickets are being made available for performances at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre up until and including Sunday, 17th May, 2020.

As the play is being shown in two parts, audience members can choose to see parts one and two together on the same day, or over consecutive evenings. The two parts can also be viewed separately on non-consecutive days, or watched individually.
