Amazing news for 90s kids and lovers of boy bands, Backstreet Boys are coming back to Australia next year.
That’s right, the rumours from earlier this year are true. Back in April, in an interview with Nova FM, the group confirmed an Aussie tour was on the cards.
The band’s Nick Carter said they wouldn’t miss Australia, “I mean, we are bringing one of the best shows we’ve ever done, from the last 20 days of rehearsals we have done – it’s going to be huge, and a big spectacle. We can’t wait to show you guys.”
Now, the Backstreet Boys are set to return in May 2020. They’ll be taking their new album, DNA to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. The album was released in January this year and apparently encompasses all of the boys’ influences and styles in the one piece.
“These songs are a great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group. It’s our DNA. We’re really proud of that,” said Kevin Richardson.
The last time Backstreet Boys were in Australia was four years ago in 2015 for an arena tour supporting In A World Like This’.
