Stormzy Being Interviewed By Kids At His Old Primary School Is Perfect

British grime MC Stormzy released second album Heavy Is the Head last week, but he faced his toughest audience yet when he returned to his old primary school in Thornton Heath in a new video for Noisey.

3rd graders at the school immediately grilled Stormzy on all manner of topics, including asking why he disliked recently-elected Conservative PM Boris Johnston.

“Boris, he’s a very, very bad man,” replied the ‘Vossi Bop’ rapper when quizzed.

“You know like the Big Bad Wolf? He’s going to come down and blow your house down. That’s why we don’t like Boris.”

Elsewhere in the video, Stormzy gives advice on how to become a “wicked skengman”, and at one point is asked why he doesn’t like “wastemen”, as “they come every Wednesday and do a good job.”

The visibly amused rapper explains that he has no problem with garbage men, and that the “wastemen” he’s talking about refers to “people who waste your time.”

Other questions the grime lord fields include which celebrity he’d like to snog, and how he knows so many bad words. It’s all bloody adorable and very much worth your time.

It’s not the first time Noisey have gotten a musician to be grilled by young people. Last year, Liam Gallagher was interviewed by a group of primary schoolers, quizzing him on everything from his favourite Disney movie to Big Shaq.

Watch the video of Stormzy below. The rapper is headed to Australia next year, bringing his Heavy Is the Head world tour down under in May 2020. Head here for dates and details.
