Drunk History is coming to Australia and the cast is too good. We’re going to get drunken history lessons from a bunch of Aussie comedians like Anne Edmonds, Becky Lucas, Tex Perkins, and Susie Youssef.
The show will also see the reunion of Australian Idol icons, Osher Günsberg and James Mathison. Drunk History Australia is adapted from the US series. It’s apparently set to have even more local talent featuring on it too, including musicians, TV personalities, and more.
The Aussie take on Drunk History will see, “The country’s best-loved comedians retell their favourite stories from our rich and often surprising history, while sipping on their favourite tipple.”
“The hilarious, skewed and anachronistically-challenged anecdotes are re-enacted by a comedy ensemble and some very unexpected faces,” says 10 Play.
The show is set to kick off on 10 and 10 Play on Monday, 14th September. But they’ve also released all of season one for streaming now, which you can catch here.
