Boy George Shares Update On Forthcoming ‘Karma Chameleon’ Biopic

Boy George has given an update on his forthcoming biopic, Karma Chameleon. In a video shared to his social media and premiered by Deadline, he shares a few key details.

In the clip, he reveals that filming for the biopic will begin filming this summer in “London and around the world”. It will be written and directed by Sacha Gervasi (of Hitchcock fame), produced by Kevin King Templeton (Creed I and II) and Paul Kemsley, with casting director Kate Ringsell (Wonder Woman).

He also reveals that Line Of Duty and 1917‘s Danny Mays will play his father. According to Boy George, Keanu Reeves is rumoured to be “popping in” too.

In terms of who will be playing the Culture Club frontman, well – that’s the thing, they haven’t secured a lead to play him yet.

“We’re looking for a brave young actor anywhere in the globe to take on the role of his life, and it will be brilliant,” he said.

“I wanna be impressed! So see you on set this summer.”

The film will cover his story from his early beginnings in an Irish working-class family, to the success he found with Culture Club, as well as his solo career too.
