MTV Is Bringing Back ‘Cribs’ with New Episodes Next Month

Over two decades since it first launched, MTV are bringing back Cribs, offering fans a tour through the homes of a whole new crop of celebrities.

The run of new episodes is set to premiere on MTV next month, are the first announcement of guests whose abodes you’ll get a glimpse into include Martha Stewart, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Ashlee Simpson, JoJo Siwa, Kathy Griffin, Snooki, Tinashe and more.

After premiering in 2000, the original run of Cribs continued for 13 seasons, and featured the (purported) homes of the likes of Mariah Carey, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, 50 Cent, Ja Rule, along with Richard Branson’s private island just to name a few.

Cribs didn’t simply introduce the celebreality genre, it created a blueprint for how we engage on social media,” commented the show’s original developer Nina L. Diaz  in a statement. “We are thrilled to usher in a new era of this iconic franchise for audiences around the world.”

MTV Entertainment Group, which Diaz is now President of Content and Chief Creative Officer of, will produce the revival, with Elena Diaz and Adam Gonzalez set to executive produce.
