Snoop Dogg’s Rap Supergroup Mount Westmore Shares New Video

Four rappers. On a spaceship. Stripper aliens. An astronaut Shiba Inu dog.

These things would normally feel quite, well, alien to each other but knowing Snoop Dogg is somehow involved? It’s less mind-blowing.

Yep, all of the above feature in the rapper’s newest music video, this one is for ‘Big Subwoofer’ – the debut single from Mount Westmore. The supergroup, consisting of Snoop, Ice Cube, Too $hort and E-40, have been working on a Def Jam-driven project called The Algorithm, with ‘Big Subwoofer’ featuring on it.

Watch the wild video for ‘Big Subwoofer’, directed by Jesse Wellens and Sam Macaroni below.

The Algorithm is Snoop’s first release with Def Jam, all of this kicking off around the rapper’s 50th birthday this week. The album is set to feature artists from the label’s ‘past, present & future’.

In a statement, Snoop’s shared his excitement for the project.

“There’s so much talent on this record, so many styles of music, it breaks the algorithm.” he says.

“Right now, the algorithm is telling us you have to rap this way, you have to sound this way, but they’re not telling you how it’s supposed to feel. My algorithm is going to give you a feeling, not a sound.”
