Ian Bavitz aka. American hip hop artist and producer. Aesop Rock has released an update on his upcoming sixth album, named Skelethon. He posted a message via Twitter and his website saying he’s finished recording the album and will start mixing it next week.
“Finished recording my new solo LP Skelethon today. Start mixing with Joey Raia next week. Bam.”
He has also revealed on Twitter that Skelethon will (obviously) be released this year, along with his other collaboration the Uncluded, which is made up of him and Kimya Dawson. The two will be releasing an album called Hokey Fright.
@AesopRockWins: The Uncluded (myself and @mrskimyadawson) also have a full length complete. It’s called Hokey Fright, and will be out this year.
@AesopRockWins: I don’t know the details of the releases of #skelethon and #hokeyfright , but will make info available here and on my site.
Aesop Rock was recently out here with Kimya Dawson to play Australian shows along with Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz.
