Custard & Kimya Dawson Headline Family Festival Dress Up Attack

If you’re a mum or dad looking to cut sick with your kids at a music festival, then your wish has been officially granted!

Annual family-friendly music and arts extravaganza Dress Up Attack has just announced a bonza lineup, hitting both Sydney and Brisbane in 2016.

The Sydney leg, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 17th September at Marrickville’s Sydney Portugal Community Club, will see performances from Juno songsmith Kimya Dawson, as well as 90’s power-pop outfit Custard, King Bunny-fronted Aus rock supergroup Bunny Racket – feat. Pat Davern (Grinspoon), Hamish Rosser (The Vines) and Dean Sutherland (Skunkhour) – plus kids entertainers Angie Who and Benny Time.

While Kimya Dawson, Bunny Racket and more artists TBA will be gracing the festival stage in Brissie, which will be taking place the previous Saturday, 10th September at Roma St Parklands Amphitheatre.

Following on from a successful mini-version of the event at the Sydney Opera House as part of this year’s VIVID LIVE program, the fully-fledged festival will also feature a bunch of activities for both grown-ups and kiddies, including art and drama workshops, theatre performances, DJ sets and the sure-to-be-LOLtastic “Dad Joke Bar”.

As always, dressing up on the day is encouraged but not compulsory.

Tickets to both events are on sale now. Catch all the details below.
