Fleet Foxes’ drummer Joshua Tillman has announced that he will be quitting the band after their Tokyo show. Writing on his blog, Tillman said:
Farewell Fleet Fans and Friends. Back into the gaping maw of obscurity I go. Tokyo is my last show with the Foxes. Sorry if I was distant and obtuse if we ever met. Have fun.
Tillman released a number of his own solo albums before joining Fleet Foxes in 2008, after the release of the band’s first album.
Fleet Foxes were recently in Australia playing the Falls Festival and sideshows.
