Post Malone has opened up about how becoming a father has profoundly changed his life. In a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, the rapper discussed his baby girl, whose name he keeps private, and revealed a tattoo of her initials, DDP, on his forehead.

In the interview, Malone spoke about the inspiration behind “Yours,” a track from his new country album F-1 Trillion. He admitted, “I think about it a lot,” and revealed he has written many songs about his daughter.

Malone credited his fiancée, Jamie, and his daughter with turning his life around. “It changes your life in the best way ever,” he said. He shared that he was “on a rough path” before meeting Jamie, struggling with loneliness and using alcohol as a coping mechanism. “I don’t feel like that anymore and that’s the most amazing thing,” he added.

On a 2023 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Malone expressed that his new fear of not being there for his daughter motivated him to cut back on drinking. “That’s why I tried to slow down on drinking, to take better care of my body,” he said.

Post Malone’s reflections highlight how fatherhood has brought positive changes to his life and well-being.
