Big Noter is back for round two: unleashing a riff-stacked, razor-edged rap-rock slammer called ‘Talk Straight’.
Following their explosive debut ‘Identity’, this new track finds Yorta Yorta powerhouse Briggs and co. doubling down on what they do best – tearing through the noise with max volume and minimum BS.
Big Noter – ‘Talk Straight’
Produced by Nick Didia of Rage Against the Machine and Pearl Jam fame (casual flex), ‘Talk Straight’ lyrically delivers a furious middle finger to fakery as Briggs roars in the chorus: “Talk straight… watch your mouth if you’re talkin’ to me.”
For those still catching up: Big Noter is Briggs’ full-throttle return to the heavy sounds that first lit his creative fire. While he made his name as a fearless force in Aussie hip-hop, this is a new beast entirely. And it’s already making a big impact in the live arena.
After tearing it up in Europe supporting Amyl & The Sniffers and supporting Rage Against The Machine icon Tom Morello at his Bluesfest 2025 sideshows on home turf, Big Noter are now ripping into a national tour supporting Karnivool, kicking off in Hobart tonight.
As for their first-ever headline show at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club this August? Already sold out. And if that’s not enough, they’ll also be jumping aboard the Suicidal Tendencies Aussie tour next year as main support.
With a debut album on the horizon, Big Noter aren’t just here to make noise – they’re here to bulldoze the gate, steal the mic, and rewrite the rules of what Aussie heavy music can be.
