Hamish Blake has been leaked as the winner of the Gold Logie at the awards ceremony tonight, reports ninemsn. An embargoed release was published early by the Herald Sun, which announced Blake as the winner. The article, which you can view below, quotes Blake as saying “It is lovely. It was a fluke to be nominated and … a far bigger fluke to actually hold that Logie”. The article was quickly removed.
Update 12:16am: The Herald Sun have issued a statement regarding the leak.
TV presenter, Tara Moss, tweeted about the event, suggesting things had become a bit heated between the organisers and the Herald Sun reporters who are at the event.
