TikTokers Have Transformed Bridgerton Into A Musical

Netflix’s latest obsession, Bridgerton has been transformed into a TikTok musical. Yup, first they brought us Ratatouille the Musical, now TikTokers are sharing songs inspired by the new period drama.

The show has basically been dubbed the period Gossip Girl. It’s seen massive success after being released on Christmas Day and supported by an influencer campaign.

Now, TikToker Abigail Barlow is turning the show into a musical. “Ok, but what if Bridgerton was a musical?” she asks before cracking into ‘Daphne’s Song’.

She followed it up with a part two. This time a song for Daphne and Simon after they got married, called ‘Burn For You’. “If this is what you call a honeymoon, pacing around our separate rooms,” she sings.

Abigail Barlow currently has five instalments of the Bridgerton musical live on TikTok, with other users joining in too.

Barlow is now even sharing the instrumental versions of her songs, so people can now properly audition for roles if the musical eventuates.

She revealed via TikTok that a full project may be incoming, “First of all, I want to say thank you so much for being so invested in the Bridgerton musical.

“It was a fun idea I had and now it could possibly be a full-length project that I share with you guys.

“You guys have given me a lot to work on and I’m so excited.

“It’ll probably end up being a concept album. Possibly for pitch when theatres open back up. Who knows? I’m writing something new everyday, [so] keep checking in.”
