The stars of beloved Aussie TV series Kath & Kim have reunited on stage, leaving fans feeling noice, different and unusual.
Jane Turner (Kath) and Gina Riley (Kim) made a surprise appearance at the 2018 AACTA Awards in Sydney on Wednesday night, decked out in iconic Kath & Kim outfits (including a g-string for Riley).
“It’s been a while since I’ve worn the ‘G’, I have to tell you,” Riley told the audience. “An acquired taste.”
Turner, meanwhile, wore a red leather pantsuit which flashed her bra, but the pair were still missing their iconic wigs.
The duo discussed some of the negative reviews Kath & Kim received in the early days of the show, before Turner hilariously struggled to say one of Kath Day-Knight’s classic one-liners. She eventually asked Riley, “Does it make me a crim to keep myself trim, Kim?”

Kath and Kim Turner and Riley later presented the AACTA Award for Best Performance In A Television Comedy, which was awarded to comedian Hannah Gadsby for ‘Nanette’.
Kath & Kim aired on the ABC between 2002 and 2005, before moving to Channel 7 for its fourth and final series in 2007. The feature film Kath & Kimderella was released in 2012.
