The 411:

Meet Majak Door, a Melbourne surf-rock outfit who’ve just unveiled their debut, self-titled album.

Since their inception, the band have consistently traversed the East Coast of Australia, packing out shows across Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and Melbourne, as well as supporting the likes of Planet, The Grogans, Seaside and Merpire.

“The album as a whole touches on many different areas,” the band explains of their freshly minted record. “Nostalgia, friendship, politics, and anything else that crosses the mind of a 20-something-year-old.”

Take it for a spin above.

Review:

Majak Door have pulled off a magnificent debut, delivering lashings of salt-sprayed surf rock goodness just in time for summer. Twelve enthralling tracks of resounding, dreamy indie music float and sparkle with intricate competencies that accentuate the elements that have come to define Majak Door’s distinctive sound. A winner.
