PREMIERE: The Sea Gypsies Unleash The Party In New Track ‘Mexico’

The Sea Gypsies are known for their undeniably catchy and explosively fun take on alternative rock, but they’ve jacked it up to another notch and taking the fun abroad in new track ‘Mexico’.

Inspired by a wild trip taken by frontman Luke Marlin, that ended up with a diagnosis of Dengue Fever and a recovery back here in Australia, it’s a reminisce of a time where he had no cares in the world – besides sharing a bed with a scorpion, apparently.

“It was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, complete with partying, Pacificos, Camel Cigarettes, Patrón and tequila. Keen to take in all of Mexico’s goodness, he even spent a night sharing his bed with a scorpion,” explain the band in a statement. “Suddenly, 3 weeks into the trip, at Puerto Escondido, his bones began to ache from head to toe.” Thus the ordeal began.

“Some people say that a holiday changes an individual. After experiencing Mexico, Luke would agree.”

Finally, the band are about to embark on a nationwide tour in support of the single. All those details you can peep below.
