Australia’s brand-new Americana-themed festival Dashville Skyline has expanded its 2015 lineup with a set of 17 new acts, including alt-country/indie outfit Holy Holy (pictured), country singer-songwriter Shane Nicholson and songwriter Ben Salter.
Also included in the festival’s second lineup announcement are Ruby Boots, Fraser A Gorman, and American singer-songwriter Leo Rondeau.
Dashville Skyline’s first lineup announcement included the likes of Canadian act Bahamas, Aussie alt-country band Wagons and Sydney four-piece All Out Exes Live In Texas. Catch the full updated lineup, below.
Dashville Skyline organiser Matt Johnston says the festival’s lineup “is designed to reflect the sparse musical lineage between traditional roots music and modern Americana”.
“I think that people connect with the genre and are excited about the concept of this festival. It’s evolving everyday, come October it’s going to be amazing,” Johnston says.
Aside from performances, Dashville Skyline 2015 will also feature songwriting sessions, American cuisine, American cars and pretty much anything associated with Americana.
