An 18-year-old woman was the victim of an alleged indecent assault at the Sydney leg of Listen Out 2017 at the weekend.
A NSW Police Spokesperson has told Music Feeds that a 19-year-old man has been charged over the incident, and has been released on bail.
“About 5:45pm on Saturday, 30th October 2017, police allege the 19-year-old man, from Punchbowl, indecently assaulted an 18-year-old woman in Centennial Park,” they say
“He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Waverley Local Court on Tuesday 24 October 2017.”
The report comes after police revealed earlier today that two police officers at Listen Out Sydney ended up in hospital after allegedly being assaulted by a 27-year-old man.
NSW Police has also told Music Feeds that 113 people were allegedly caught in possession of prohibited drugs at the event, with three people charged for supply. 164 people were searched by police over the course of the day.
Police had previously stated they were “disappointed” with the number of people found with drugs at Listen Out in Melbourne last week, while a man was also allegedly caught with Vegemite-smeared drugs attached to his penis at the event.
