Radiohead, Janet Jackson, Rage Against The Machine & More Lead Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame’s 2019 Nominees

Brace yourselves: the 2019 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Nominees have just been announced, and the list is stacked from top to bottom with some of history’s biggest music icons and legends.

The list includes Radiohead, Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Rage Against The Machine, The Cure, Devo, Janet Jackson, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, Roxy Music, Todd Rundgren, John Prine, MC5, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and The Zombies. See? Top to bottom legends.

Of course, a whole bunch of industry folk will vote for who actually makes 2019’s class of inductees, and fans can help vote as well by visiting the HOF’s website here.

To be eligible to be nominated, the artist or band’s first single/album had to be released prior to, and including, 1993. A lot of these acts have scored nominations before, including Janet Jackson, LL Cool J, Radiohead and Rage Against The Machine. It is, however, the first nomination for Stevie Nicks, Def Leppard, Devo, Roxy Music, John Prine and Todd Rundgren.

Last year’s inductees included Nina Simone, Bon Jovi and Dire Straits, with both Radiohead and Rage Against The Machine missing out.
