50 Cent’s Bankruptcy Court Case Is Now Over

It was 50 Cent‘s birthday yesterday and he undoubtedly would’ve been In Da Club sipping Bacardi because he also had a plan approved to end his bankruptcy.

According to TMZ, before he hit the club, he had to spend the day in a Connecticut bankruptcy court waiting to hear whether or not his creditors would approve a deal to repay $28 million in debt.

Under the plan, which they did approve, he has to pay back $23.4 million over five years. He owes Sleek Audio $17 million of that and a further $6 million to Lastonia Leviston for intentionally putting their sex tape online.

He’ll pay an upfront amount of $7.4 million and then $2 million each year for the next five years. The next $6 million could be funded by selling his Connecticut property, according to his lawyer.

50 celebrated the approved plan by doing exactly what a man who has nearly $24 million to pay back would do – he jumped in a helicopter. 50 took to Instagram to post a series of photos in a helicopter and apparently he’s so busy right now he has “no days off”.

He further addressed the bankruptcy situation by posting TMZ’s article on the approved deal and writing, “oh now I remember where I put that Money. LMAO.” His approach to bankruptcy may be the most jovial we’ve ever seen.

He’s tagged every Instagram with #EffenVodka which is his own Vodka brand that retails for upwards of $60 in Australia.
