Sheffield post-rock outfit 65daysofstatic will play a handful of headline shows while in Australia for Adelaide Festival in March next year. After first playing Adelaide Festival on Saturday, 7th March, the band will perform in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
65daysofstatic last toured Australia in January 2013 after playing Peats Ridge Festival in December 2012, which marked their first time performing in Australia. Since then the band have released their sixth studio album, Wild Light. Supporting the four-piece throughout their 2015 tour will be West Australian post-rock fusion act Tangled Thoughts Of Leaving.
As part of Adelaide Festival 2015, 65daysofstatic will share the stage with Mogwai, Model 500, Vatican Shadow, and Hieroglyphic Being, among others. The band’s headline tour will then begin in Melbourne on Sunday, 8th March, and finish up in Perth on Friday, 13th March.
