Action Bronson Groovin The Moo Sideshows Announced

New York City rapper Action Bronson has been previously announced to play this year’s instalment of Groovin The Moo, and now the 30-year-old sharp shootin’ wordsmith has given us a bunch o’ sideshow dates to boot, making his way around the country this April and May.

Action Bronson, born Arian Asllani, stirred up a whole lot of hype in 2013 with his major label debut EP, Saaab Stories. He’s currently making his first major label full-length effort, and found time last month to drop by Australia for a bit of a taste tester, accompanying Eminem, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar and 360 on a tour of Oz.

This string of sideshows will kick off at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Wednesday, 30th April, before hitting Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, while Groovin The Moo gets going on Friday, 25th April in Oakbank, South Australia.

UPDATE 6:13pm 11/03/14: Triple J have announced that Action Bronson has had to cancel his highly-anticipated Australian return as part of the forthcoming Groovin The Moo 2014 tour, as well as the recently announced series of sideshows set for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.

Tickets for the sideshows were to hit sale tomorrow, but promoters have now confirmed the postponement of the rapper’s Aus appearances, saying, “Action Bronson is regretful of the clash in commitments and promises to return down-under for a series of headline shows later in the year.”

They promise that “New tour details will be announced at a later date.” Bronson was last in the country as part of Eminem‘s hugely successful Rapture 2014 tour, which saw him perform alongside the likes of Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, 360, M-Phazes, and headliner Eminem.
