Alison Wonderland Shares New Single, Details Debut Album ‘Run’

Shooting star Aussie DJ Alison Wonderland has revealed her debut album, Run, will fall to earth on Friday, 20th March. To celebrate, she’s unveiled a brand-new track from the disc, a collaboration with frontman of The Flaming Lips, Wayne Coyne, entitled U Don’t Know.

Wonderland approached Coyne to work on the enigmatic single during her time in Los Angeles where she recorded the LP, and he’s far from its only cameo. Run promises a rolodex of guest collaborators from both sides of the equator, including New York rapper Johnny Nelson, SAFIA’s Ben Woolner and beat wizard Djemba Djemba, who’s best known for his work with Diplo’s MAD DECENT label.

Speaking of Diplo, being described by the American music mogul as “one of the best DJs from Australia” – not to mention earning a headlining spot at Central Coast music festival Mountain Sounds and a turn on the juggernaut Coachella lineup — hasn’t been enough to eclipse Wonderland’s excitement about releasing her feature-length debut.

“YESSSSS I finally get to say this…” she posted on Facebook. “I HAVE A REAL LIFE FULL LENGTH ALBUM!!!”

The quadruple threat DJ, producer, singer and classically trained cellist’s latest single, U Don’t Know, is being offered up as a free, instant download for fans who pre-order her forthcoming album on iTunes.
