Melbourne’s seafaring metal festival, Hell On the Bay, is getting ready to set sail for its third year running on Saturday, 5th September. Ingeniously dubbed ‘Tritanic’, the 2015 instalment is packing a ship-load of Australia’s best heavy metal acts onboard a Victoria Star cruise ship.
This year, the boat will be rocked by viking headliners Barbarion, whom you might remember from the sunken metal musical The Legend Of Dio and, more recently, nominating themselves to represent Australia at Eurovision.
Joining them onboard will be fellow salty dogs Desecrator, Claim the Throne and Hybrid Nightmares, for four hours of cruise/mosh/windmill time around Melbourne’s iconic Port Phillip Bay.
Promoters Brimstone Bookings are also promising punters a host of metal DJs in the below decks party room, with a pizza dinner included in the ticket price.
This year’s Tritanic festival follows on from the sold-out success of the last two events. Tickets are on sale now. Check out the full details below.
