Just hours after announcing the addition of electronic duo Collarbones to the Field Day 2015 lineup, organisers have dropped the news that DJ and producer Ribongia will also play Sydney’s annual New Year’s Day festival.
“Red hot producer Ribongia just joined the FIELD DAY lineup, adding some unhinged safari pandemonium to the day,” wrote organisers on Facebook confirming the Italo/Australia producer, real name Antonio Rosselli, will play the festival alongside alt-J, SBTRKT, Milky Chance, Peking Duk, Danny Brown and Salt N Pepa.
Ribongia has shared stages with the likes of Flying Lotus and Gaslamp Killer in the past, has remixed tracks by Ngaiire, Lanie Lane and Thundametals and is quickly becoming a regular in the Australian festival scene. His latest EP It Began, is out now.
Field Day 2015 will take place in Sydney’s The Domain on New Year’s Day 2015. See the full festival lineup and ticket details, below.
