Arctic Monkeys Unveil New Single ‘I Want It All’

Arctic Monkeys don’t seem to keen on leaving much to the imagination with their soon-to-be released album AM unveiling yet another single from the record I Want It All. Not that we’re complaining, that is.

The latest single from AM carries on in a similar fashion to its predecessors: much like lead track R U Mine? and the subsequent Do I Wanna Know?, I Want It All is driven by electric guitar and propped up by creeping, relentless drums.

On top of those three tracks, we’ve also heard studio versions of previous single Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?, as well as its B-side Stop The World I Wanna Get Off With You and the B-side to Do I Wanna Know? called 2013.

As well as studio versions of AM tracks, a live version of the album’s Arabella made its way around the web just yesterday, and deep cut Mad Sounds premiered at a few Euro festivals earlier in the year. At this rate, there’s gonna be no surprises left when AM drops at the end of the week.

The band have busted out the big guns for AM roping in Josh Homme as well as Bill Ryder-Jones, formerly of The Coral for guest appearances. According to mainman Alex Turner, Dr. Dre can also be heard in the album though not as a cameo, but rather as an inspiration.

AM will be released Down Under on Friday, 6th September. The band is expected to be in town some time in ’14.
