Azealia Banks Announces Future Music Sideshows For Sydney And Melbourne

Harlem rapper mistress Azealia Banks has announced headlining sideshows on the back of her appearance on the Future Music Festival lineup this March. She’ll be playing two shows in total, including one at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on 6th March and one at the Palace Theatre in Melbourne on 7th March.

This is her second visit to our shores in just under a year, last performing at Splendour in the Grass, which didn’t all go to plan after only appearing on stage for around 30 minutes. But now she has the chance to redeem her self once again, as she brings cool persona and street sensibility to the stage.

With a highly anticipated new album Broke With Expensive Taste on the way, Banks released her 1991 EP featuring the hit 212 last year. She’s topped many lists, including amongst her many accolades a spot at the top of NME’s “Cool List” in 2011.

Tickets will be $65+bf, and go on sale at 12pm on Tuesday, 19th February at 12pm, or you can try your luck with pre-sales on Monday, 18th February.
