Azealia Banks “Super Sorry” For The Short Set At Splendour

Last night, on the final day of Splendour in the Grass 2012, punters were massively let down by technical problems, which forced one of the most hyped artists on the bill to end her set after only 25 minutes.

Azealia Banks was set to make her Australian debut, currently touring in support of her EP ‘1991’. However, sound issues that plagued the Supertop main stage were sure to prevent the US rapper from performing the set she wanted to, and fans from seeing it.

The tweetosphere was alive with questions and frustration as people wondered just what the hell went down in an otherwise issue-free festival. Today Banks has joined in with her own tweets, apologising profusely for the inconvenience, and seems genuinely distraught by what happened.

If fans were looking for someone to blame, it looks as though it lies on the equipment supplied, which in all fairness had probably been running at full capacity for 48 hours non stop prior to her set. Take a look at the tweets below. The crowd didn’t seem too disgruntled by the situation, it just appeared to be…one of those things!
