When the queen speaks, the world listens. And when she makes a documentary about herself and releases it on Netflix, the world subscribes! That is reportedly what Beyoncé is up to at the moment, as well as recording some brand new music.
As reported by US Weekly, Queen Bey is currently hard at work creating a documentary for Netflix that will be centred around her groundbreaking performance at Coachella last year. The performance was streamed on YouTube to almost 500,000 people, breaking a record. Apparently, this Netflix special will include footage we haven’t seen before.
Now, Beyoncé is also reportedly working on new music but, sadly, it’s not a f*cking album. According to Us Weekly, the new music is not enough for a whole album, but will instead be “a couple of new tracks [for] a deluxe album filled with old songs.”
Not what we asked for, Knowles, but we’ll take it.
We’ve been starved – positively STARVED – of new solo music from Beyoncé since her 2016 masterpiece Lemonade. Her and husband Jay-Z did, however, release their first joint album Everything Is Love last year.
And we’re not even gonna mention how long it’s been since she’s toured Australia…
