Brisbane music conference BIGSOUND is just over a month away and they have released the jam-packed timetable for the live component so you can get planning early.
BIGSOUND Live will take over Brisbane for Wednesday and Thursday night with acts set to play over a massive 15 stages. Of course, that means it’s clash galore with some big decisions to be made. Like, will you see Harts or Born Lion? JOY over The John Steel Singers? Gang of Youths or Koi Child?
There are some big decisions to be made but with a lineup that features most of Australia’s best budding new talent, it’s unlikely that you won’t see many great sets.
Each year BIGSOUND enlists a bunch of acts on the brink of becoming Australia’s finest. Last year the likes of Tkay Maidza, SAFIA and Hayden James played and have since gone onto become some of the most sought-after festival acts in the country.
BIGSOUND is set to go down on Wednesday, 9th September and Thursday, 10th September. Music will fill the evenings while the days will be occupied listening to speakers including Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett who will deliver the keynote address and Pitchfork‘s Jessica Hopper.
