Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge Working On Three Films

Tom DeLonge from Blink 182 and Angels & Airwaves has spoken to NME, saying that he has plans on making three films in the future. DeLonge will be out here with Angels & Airwaves on the Soundwave 2012 line-up as well as playing some Sidewaves.

Despite all the touring, and plans to go back out on the road to play with the reformed Blink-182, he talks about the other projects he has going on:

“We’ve got three movies ideas that we’re working on, two specifically; one has a completely written script, which I can’t go into yet,” he continues “But the Poet movie is a very large, ambitious idea; it’s about dreams and near death experiences. It’ll have the pacing of a mainstream film, but it’ll look very artistic. It’ll allow us to create a score album that’s very different to anything Angels And Airwaves has done in the past.”

When asked about his tour plans with Blink-182, he said “The Blink tour is in June and then the Angels dates will get worked in after that. But I’ll be doing both bands throughout the year.” No word on whether they will finally make a trip to Australia anytime soon, with Travis Barker’s fear of flying making travel a difficult task.

DeLonge’s band mate Mark Hoppus has revealed he has been working on some new material for the bands next album as well.
