Bob Dylan, BB King and Elvis Costello to play Bluesfest 2011

Bluesfest have just announced one hell of a line-up for 2011, luring a holy trinity of headliners. Bob Dylan, BB King and Elvis Costello and The Imposters. Speaking of the line-up festival director Peter Noble said “if Jesus Christ, Mohammed AND Buddha ALL want to pray in our church or temple at the same time – we are gonna find a way to fit them in”.

Check below for the full first announcement, but we’re picking Rodrigo y Gabriela and The Blind Boys Of Alabama featuring soul legend Aaron Neville as the not to be missed highlights of this announcement, along with the legendary trifecta of Dylan, King and Costello. However this is just the first announcement so stay tuned for the rest of the line-up as with the bill touted to be running at 120 artists there is sure to be much more exciting news from the festival.
