Bob Dylan New Album ‘Tempest’ Streaming Via iTunes

Consequence of Sound have posted that the new Bob Dylan album Tempest, due out next week on September 11, is currently streaming via iTunes. Tempest is the 35th studio album from Dylan, a remarkable feat by any standards, and was produced by Dylan under the pseudonym ‘Jack Frost’.

As previously reported by Music Feeds, Tempest is entirely comprised of new material, making it the first Dylan record to contain nothing but original tunes since 2009’s Together Through Life. Among the previously unreleased songs is the 14-minute epic ode to the titanic, the title track Tempest, and a dedication to John Lennon called Roll on John.

Back in May there was speculation that the new record may have some Mexican flavour due to the involvement of Los Lobos’ multi-instrumentalist David Hidalgo. Now fans can find out for themselves, so if you’re a massive Dylan fan and simply can’t wait another six days to hear the new album, then head over to iTunes and start streaming for free now…
