Bombay Bicycle Club Confirm They Are Currently Recording Their First Album In Five Years

It’s been a long time between drinks for Bombay Bicycle Club, but now the British indie rock favourites are in the studio working on their next studio album.

The last time Bombay Bicycle Club gave us new music was back in early 2014 with their fourth studio album So LongSee You Tomorrow.

Turns out that was a pretty fitting album title because shortly after the band announced an indefinite hiatus. But now it looks like that hiatus is up, as the band have confirmed that they are currently recording their fifth studio album.

In an image posted to the band’s Instagram story, which you can view here, bandmates Jamie MacColl, Suren de Saram and Ed Nash are shown working away with the caption “first day recording our new album.”

The last time the band was in the country was also in 2014, so hopefully with this new album they make their return to Australia soon.
