Breakout Under 18′s Music Festival – Final Line-up + Young DJ’s Competition

The Breakout under 18s festival is only a matter of weeks away and organisers have now released the final line-up details for both the Sydney and Melbourne shows. The festival is also giving young up and coming DJ’s a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play on the line-up alongside some of the world’s biggest names in dance and urban music.

Over the past week, young DJs have submitted short mixes online, and now their fate is in the hands of the under 18 community, who can now listen and vote for the winning act on a Facebook widget until Monday 21st November (5pm). The winner will receive a slot on the Congo Stage in each city.

Melbourne’s event will also feature the world premiere of the Telstra Spectrum! The yet-to-be-unveiled area will allow attendees to capture the experience in a photo booth, recharge their phones, grab heaps of prizes and meet some of their favourite Breakout artists (photos and signings) while some of Melbourne’s hottest club DJs spin tunes (feat. Dom Dolla, Airwolf, Beetlejuice, Zac Hayse, Kay Z).

The Sydney leg of the festival has sold out and Melbourne is now in final ticket release, with the promoters urging kids to get their hands on tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
