Britney Spears is back, taking to Twitter this morning to announce the release of her new album, Glory on August 26th, and declaring the beginning of a new era. Because you don’t spend your twenties as the queen of pop without picking up a flair for the dramatic.
This great news for those of us who’ve been waiting for Britney to pull herself out of the musical funk she’s been in the past few years (with the less said about her recent collaboration with Iggy Azalea the better), with the first track taken from it so far – Make Me ft G-Eazy – giving us a glimpse of what she of the great abdominals has in store for us.
Following on from announcing the album, she also tweeted some incentive to pre-order:
Pre-order #Glory and get #PrivateShow instantly ?

While we assume she is referring to a song and not offering to come and perform in your living room, we can still dream.
In the meantime why don’t you have a listen to Make Me here below.
