Calling All Cars Go Hunting, Announce Tour Dates

Calling All Cars are at it again! After road testing their live show throughout 2009 supporting both Cog and then The Butterfly Effect on national tours, the band will be celebrating the release of their latest single ‘Hold, Hold, Fire’ by continuing their never-ending life of touring, touring and more touring.

The boys will be breaking out their tweed jackets, grooming the hounds and trekking off on the Go Hunting Tour accompanied by new buddies NSW Central Coast rockers After The Fall. The Go Hunting Tour will see Calling All Cars tear their way across Australia over a seven week expedition, playing over 30 dates in both capital cities and major regional centres in support of ‘Hold, Hold, Fire’ which was recently added to triple j and community radio stations around Australia.

After kicking off proceedings in NSW this week catch them on the next leg of the tour when they rock the bejesus out of rural and urban Victoria with quick hit and run mission to South Australia to liven up proceedings at Elizapalooza – a 30 bands, 3 stages and 10 hour celebration of music at Elizabeth in South Australia!!

‘Hold, Hold, Fire’ was produced by Tom Larkin (Shihad, Young & Restless, The Getaway Plan) at ‘The Studios In The City’ in their hometown of Melbourne and is the title track from Calling All Cars’ forthcoming debut album, which is currently being recorded and produced by Larkin in between Calling All Cars’ Guinness World Record breaking life on the road.

Hold, Hold, Fire the album will be released in the first quarter of 2010.
