Carry Nation Set to Release Debut Album; Sydney Launch Announced

Brisbane chanteuse Carry Nation is set to release her debut album Like a River Does through El Niño El Niño, with distribution by Inertia, on 3 April 2010.

To celebrate the release, Carry Nation will launch her new record on Sunday 21 March at The Troubadour in Brisbane, supported by Matthew Vale (Lion Island) and Opals & Poole; Sunday 28 March at The Wesley Anne in Melbourne, supported by McKisko and Jimmy Hawk; followed by Wednesday 7 April at Raval in Sydney, supported by McKisko.

You can also catch Carry Nation playing a special in-store performance at Pure Pop Records in St Kilda, Melbourne, on Saturday 3 April.

Having spent several years honing her craft in hometown Brisbane, Carry Nation has built a reputation for her haunting live shows and ability to transfix her audience. She has also had the pleasure of performing with Darren Hanlon, Laura Jean, Washington and McKisko.
