Chance The Rapper has teased a collaboration with Childish Gambino in a photo of the pair that was taken backstage at Sydney’s Field Day festival over the weekend.
A full-length Chance & Childish release has been teased numerous times in the past, but Chance’s latest tease is the ~teasiest~ yet. Taking to Instagram, he’s shared a photo of himself and Childish, along with the caption, “Hawaii then LA, back to work. #roscoeswetsuit”
The hashtag is a reference to the Chance-featuring screenplay which was released alongside Gambino’s 2013 album Because The Internet, which featured the third collaboration between the two — ‘The Worst Guys’. In the video for the track (below), they’re even seen surfing in wetsuits. The pair’s first collab saw Chance feature on Gambino’s ‘They Don’t Like Me’, before Gambino featured on ‘Favorite Song’ from Chance’s Acid Rap mixtape.
Chance’s Insta post has led some fans to consider that the bros might finally be getting back together to finish a collaborative album or mixtape, although Gambino is yet to publicly comment on the post.
While in Australia for Field Day and some sideshows, Chance also wrote a poem for his Aussie fans, and it’s pretty amazing:
“I wrote a poem today inspired by me being in 2017 Australia right now but still 2016 in Chi,” he wrote on Facebook.
“Samurai Jack
Kangaroo Jack
Hungry Jack”

Chance The Rapper released a free Christmas mixtape with Jeremih in December, while Childish Gambino dropped his third studio album Awaken, My Love! earlier in the same month.
