Chase Atlantic have been forced to pull the plug on their forthcoming Australian tour dates supporting Sleeping With Sirens, due to singer Mitchel Cave’s ill health.
Promoters MJR Presents took to social media to confirm that the Aussie alternative R&B crew would not be appearing at tonight’s opening show in Sydney, or any of the other local SWS dates.
“Doctors have grounded the band after singer Mitchel Cave has fallen severely ill,” their statement reads.
“MJR have not been given an official statement from the band and the show will still go on with Sleeping With Sirens, LOWER THAN ATLANTIS and The Faim. We apologise to disappointed fans and wish Mitchel a speedy recovery!”
Chase Atlantic have since taken to social media with their own statement, confirming that they’ll be MIA for the Aussie shows but adding that they’re “looking forward to joining up” with their “broskis” in Sleeping With Sirens later in the year.
The trio have just unleashed a music video for their new single ‘Numb to the Feeling’.
