Chili Peppers To Headline Austin City Limits 2012

Promoters for Austin City Limits today have released the full lineup for the 2012 edition of the festival…and it is an absolute doozy of a bill.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have been slotted in as headliners alongside Neil Young & Crazy Horse, The Black Keys, Jack White, and Florence + The Machine. The big names go on and on as you read down the list, which I lost count of around the 100 mark.

The promotions company behind the three-day event, C3 Promotions, also work behind the scenes for Lollapalooza and will be working hand in hand with Big Day Out in 2013. This has added serious credibility to the rumours circulating that the Chili Peppers will be headlining Big Day Out, as they have with both Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.

If precedence is something we can rely on with C3 Promotions, then it’s looking like BDO 2013 will be HUGE. Take a look at the full lineup below; who do you think will make it down for Big Day Out?
